Zanzibar Cyber City
Zanzibar Cyber City is a long horizon development project anchored in a formal partnership with the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, designed to become a regional hub for digital infrastructure, advanced industry and next generation work.

The project has moved through its foundational milestones. A pre-feasibility study has been completed, validating the technical, economic and operational parameters of the development. Land has been formally awarded for the site, providing a secured physical footprint on which the next phases can be built. The project is now positioned for its capital formation phase and is actively engaging investors and strategic partners.
At the core of the development sits the Zanzibar Digital Free Zone, a strategically important component established as a public private partnership with the Government of Zanzibar. The Free Zone provides the regulatory, jurisdictional and operational framework that allows the wider Cyber City to attract digital businesses, infrastructure operators and international capital under clear and predictable rules. It is the institutional foundation on which the rest of the project is built.
The project carries direct government relevance. It is aligned with national priorities around digital transformation, foreign direct investment and skills development, and it is structured to deliver measurable outcomes for the host jurisdiction. Internationally, Zanzibar offers a credible geographic position between Africa, the Middle East and Asia, with the potential to serve as an entry point for organisations seeking a stable, internationally connected base in the region.
The current focus is straightforward. Secure the investors and partners required to fund the next phase of development, and translate the existing pre-feasibility work, land and Free Zone framework into operational infrastructure on the ground.
